IS Data Services Senior

This GIS LTE will provide support for water resources monitoring and watershed planning activities, including the creation of GIS products to support monitoring and reporting. 50% Creation and/or use of map products, map services, and public-ready visual displays of data for reports including the Clean Water Act Integrated Report and Watershed Plan Maps. 50% Creation of support documents for baseline, targeted, and evaluation water resources monitoring.

Knowledge Required:

The well qualified applicant will have a working knowledge of ArcGIS 10, Arc Server 9.3 Enterprise Datasets, Feature Classes, Map Documents, Map Services, and emerging GIS technology and issues; as well as experience using feature classes and knowledge on creating and managing spatial views and other derived products in an enterprise database environment. GIS-Oracle integrated tools require a working knowledge of html, xml, and asp.net programming AGS Server 9.3, ARCIMS, ArcFIS 10, PL SQL and related tools. A well qualified candidate will have the following qualifications: Effective communications skills, presentation skills for a variety of audiences, ability to manage multiple tasks related to program function and maintenance, and the ability to keep accurate, complete, and timely work records.
