This position is responsible for supervising engineers and technical staff in the Photogrammetry Unit. The position develops and executes the Photogrammetric Program for Aerial Imagery and Mapping Projects statewide. Included are the related sensor technologies such as the Light Detecting And Ranging (LiDAR) Scanning in support of the Department’s 3D Implementation Plan. These leadership responsibilities also include coordination, development, and implementation of research objectives in Photogrammetry and Engineering Surveying related to hardware, software, standards, specifications, procedures, policies and applications in support of activities for highway improvement projects. This position is also responsible for oversight of the development, administration and execution of photogrammetric and engineering surveying contracts. The responsibilities assigned to this position require professional, engineering and technical judgment, involving significant consequences of error.

Special Qualifications
A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license from the State of Wisconsin is required upon application.
