The City of La Crosse, WI is seeking to hire a highly qualified candidate to provide professional planning support to various City Committees and to assist management with initiating planning studies and reports, neighborhood and community development activities and ordinance writing. The work is performed under the direction of the Director of Planning and Development.
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Geography, Public Administration or related field, with one year of planning experience with exposure to planning principles, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) certificate helpful; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
Special Requirements:
Position requires a valid driver’s license, excellent oral and written communication skills and strong computer skills in Microsoft office. This is a professional, exempt position.
