Natural Resources Scientist

Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH®), a multidisciplined consulting firm, has an opening for a full-time Natural Resources Scientist in our Chippewa Falls, WI office. We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of a team that provides exceptional service to our clients. Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in biology or environmental studies area with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Required experience in wetland delineation, permitting, mitigation planning and design, as well as experience with GIS mapping. Preferred Experience with proposal writing, Wisconsin environmental regulatory requirements, completing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, and providing support in completing other types of environmental work such as spill plans, storm water plans or soil and groundwater sampling. Responsibilities include conducting fieldwork assignments related to environmental investigations and document preparation involving aquatic, wetland, and upland environments. This person will work relatively independently to complete project tasks and deliverables. Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and walk and climb over rough terrain.
