In keeping with our commitment to improve our client services, we are seeking to expand our Geographic Information Systems (GIS) capabilities.  We have an opportunity for an experienced GIS Professional to provide leadership in GIS marketing, project management, application development, and technical support to our planners, engineers and scientists utilizing GIS applications to enhance our existing and prospective markets.

Responsibilities include marketing, training, coordinating with staff, web-based application development and implementation, mapping and analysis, management of relational databases, and client coordination. The candidate must possess the skills necessary to advance the GIS services provided to our clients and potential clients.

In order to be considered for this position, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Geography, Engineering or a science related field, minimum of 3 years experience with working knowledge of ESRI GIS products, experience with practical engineering and scientific application of GIS technology as well as AutoCAD or Microstation familiarity.  General experience in natural resource management, preferably water resources is desired.  A Masters degree and/or GISP is also desirable.  Strong problem solving, organization and communication skills are essential. 

The position requires 3 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing customized web GIS applications and web services for clients using ArcGIS Server, Google Map API, and HTML 5 API technologies. Knowledge of Microsoft Silverlight API, JavaScript API is a plus. Familiarity implementing applications in a Cloud Based environment as well as programming experience using PHP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX, and ArcObjects is desired. Skills in mobile application development and some experience using Trimble GPS Equipment, TerraSync, ArcPad and Pathfinder Office are a plus.
