Job Details:

• The Information Systems Department provides a professional, hands-on experience in geographic information systems (GIS) and healthcare business analysis.  The Intern’s role includes assisting in the development of ArcGIS Server-based web sites and basic analytical tools, as well as associated supporting data via ArcGIS Server Java tools in an ArcSDE/Oracle environment.  Gundersen Health Information Systems cover a wide range of current technologies and applications.

Education/Learning Experience:

Required:  

• Completed or enrolled in a GIS, computer science, mathematics, or a related field bachelors or masters degree or post-baccalaureate certificate program that provides degree/certificate credit for internship.

Work Experience:

• Experience in building and maintaining ESRI ArcGIS Server environment web applications.

Skills/Knowledge:

 Required:  

• Strong knowledge and experience with ArcGIS Desktop and geodatabase design.

Desired:  

• Experience using ArcGIS Server, ModelBuilder, and ArcSDE; experience with Web development, experience with Oracle and SQL.

Licenses/Certifications:

Desired:  

• CPR certification.
