Job Summary:

Builds and leads teams of GIS and end-user representatives in a matrix organization to effectively deliver technology solutions and business applications to meet strategic objectives. Establishes supplier objectives as it relates to projects and effectively manages tasks. Leads and manages large projects in support of business strategies. Effectively balances quality, schedule and cost in the deployment of information technology to address the business needs for assigned functional areas. Ensures that project management and application systems development methodologies are used effectively across all projects under the incumbent’s span of control. Proactively exercises management and technical skills to complete projects on time, within budget and with high quality. Effectively leads and manages a team of internal and external resources through the design, build and implementation phases of projects.

Education Required:

• A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent. Combination of education and experience is required.

• Project Management Institute (PMI) certification required. If the certification requirement is not met at time of hire or placement into this position, incumbent will be required to obtain it within 18 months unless a written extension is approved by incumbent’s supervisor and Human Resources. If the candidate does not meet the degree requirement a combination of relevant education and experience should total the equivalent of 15 years.

Experience Required:

Requires 7 or more years of active and successful project leadership with information systems. Strong organization skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills to interact with all levels of company leadership, and resolve business issues on a timely basis. Requires a broad knowledge of business and the ability to translate business requirements into application-based system solutions. Requires three plus years of experience coaching and mentoring direct reports.

Supplemental Information:

This position will have responsibility for managing projects in support of International Human Capital Management initiatives across H-D business units. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively across Global Information Systems (GIS) and H-D business units in accomplishing tactical and strategic application development and implementation objectives. Experience implementing solutions leveraging SAP ERP HCM components and experience delivering solutions working with international markets is preferred.
