Organizational Statement

Enbridge Energy Company, Inc., a leader in crude oil and natural gas transportation, gathering and processing, is currently seeking a Sr. ROW Agent at the Superior, WI location.

Responsibilities

  • To assist in the development of company procedures, policies, and programs addressing lands and right-of-way issues.
  • Preparation of budgets, schedules and supervision of contract acquisition teams for large scale provincial and federal system expansions, acquisitions and projects

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Provides a quality assurance role to ensure ROW consistency
  • Provides interpretation of applicable legislation, regulations and processes
  • Involved in highly contentious and large scale projects
  • Performs due diligence for special projects
  • Assists in the development and ongoing updating of the Operations Lands & ROW technical, procedural and policy manual
  • Provides internal advisory serves on proposed and enacted legislative changes
  • Provides broad base direction (exceeding regional jurisdiction) for Lands and Right-of-Way
  • Coordinates the development, implementation and training aspect of a transnational land information management system (LOIDS GIS) including ongoing updates & enhancements
  • Responds to planning applications impacting or near Enbridge facilities and right-of-way
  • Assists in Lands & ROW Operations policy development and best practices

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in related discipline, SR/WA designation, and knowledgeable in pipeline operations, information management systems (preferably GIS), research and policy development, and land management / administration. Eight (8) years related experience. Effective verbal, written, computer, problem solving, project management and decision making skills. Effective communicator and team leader. Ability to interpret applicable legislation, regulations, and processes. Equivalencies considered
