Civil Engineering Technician

Job Description 

I&S Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join our growing team in our La Crosse, Wisconsin office.  I&S Group is a full service engineering and architecture firm that provides design services to a wide variety of industries, and offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Drafting in the design and construction of public work and private client facilities and projects.
• Prepare drawings, documents, details, schedules or specifications using programs such as AutoCAD, Civil3D and ArcVeiw GIS.
• Operate copy, blueprint, and duplication and computer equipment.
• Assist survey technicians in survey field work.
• Subscribe to our goals and objectives, including geographic and project-type diversity.
• Become a complementary member of our team as a whole, and on a project-by-project basis.
• Work on several projects at one time.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

• Associates Degree in an accredited Civil Engineering Technology program.
• Demonstrated ability in the usage of programs such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, and ArcView GIS.
• Able to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-directed and can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated track record of successful past employment
