Civil Engineering Technician

I+S Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join our growing team in our La Crosse, Wisconsin office. I+S Group is a full service engineering and architecture firm that provides design services to a wide variety of industries, and offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for professional growth. Qualifications include ArcGIS, AutoCAD and Civil3D.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting in the design and construction of public work and private client facilities and projects.
• Prepare drawings, documents, details, schedules or specifications using programs such as AutoCAD, Civil3D and Arc View GIS.
• Operate copy, blueprint, and duplication and computer equipment.
• Assist survey technicians in survey field work.
• Subscribe to our goals and objectives, including geographic and project-type diversity
• Become a complementary member of our team as a whole, and on a project-by-project basis
• Work on several projects at one time
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in an accredited Civil Engineering Technology program
• Demonstrated ability in the usage of programs such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Arc View GIS
• Previous WisDOT exp. helpful but not required
• Able to multi-task and establish priorities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-directed and can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated track record of successful past employment
