Foth is currently seeking a Registered Land Surveyor for their Milwaukee, WI location who is looking for career growth, learning experiences and a desire to contribute to their clients’ success.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform right-of-way platting including, but not limited to, research, horizontal and vertical control, preparing base maps, computing existing R/W, parcel lines, permanent and temporary easements, and writing descriptions for purchasing of R/W and easements
  • Prepare legal descriptions
  • Complete description writing, interpretation and layout for a variety of surveys including easement, property, ALTA, site, topographic, construction staking, etc.
  • Perform boundary/control surveying and mapping
  • Coordinate scheduling with survey personnel locally and with other Foth offices as needed

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent education and experience
  • 10+ years of survey experience
  • WDOT experience with ROW Platting and TPP Platting
  • Professional Land Surveyor License 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with the following:
  • Microstation and AutoCAD design software
  • Trimble Geomatics Office – GPS software
  • Trimble Robotic Total Stations and Trimble GPS – RTK
  •  Trimble TerraSync and Pathfinder – GIS Mapping software
  • Trimble GEO XH – GIS grade mapping collector
  • Using GPS and robotics
  • Previous client interaction experience in support of business development
