Aggregate Engineer Technician

General Overview:

 Assists the Land Resources Manager and the Aggregate Production Manager in the planning, development and utilization of aggregate sites including long and short term site planning, exploration, permitting, leasing, property agreements, reserves, neighbor relations, royalties, inventories, strategic aggregate resource planning.

Misc Duties:

• Design and implement consistent hard copy and electronic data filing system for all aggregate site documents, correspondence, plans, etc. to be located in one central location in lieu of being filed in multiple locations throughout company locations and individuals
• Liaison with Environmental Manager
• Special projects as needed by Regional, Area or aggregate managers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, engineering, environmental science or comparable experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with AUTO CADD, GIS or other computer design software preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to travel locally and regionally
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
