Continental Mapping Consultants, Inc. is a leading provider of high quality, innovative and comprehensive photogrammetric mapping, land survey, and geospatial data solutions to private, public, and federal clients. We are headquartered in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin (suburban Madison), with branch offices in Indianapolis, IN; Kansas City, KS; and St. Louis, MO.
Continental Mapping is currently seeking a Production Lead in our Sun Prairie, WI office. The Production Lead will lead and be part of a team of Geospatial Analysts and Technicians that extract feature and/or terrain data from a variety of sources and conduct research to fully prepare the data for our clients.
Supervisory duties will include managing project resources, ensuring staff receive necessary training, and providing staff assistance to meet their career goals. Responsibilities will include delegating work and setting priorities, reviewing completed jobs, and serving as the subject matter expert. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Geography or related geospatial science or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum three years geospatial production experience
• Minimum two years supervisory experience
• Excellent stereographic vision
• Demonstrated experience with ArcGIS and Socet Set
• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and may require the ability to obtain and maintain and U.S. Government Security Clearance
Preference may be given to candidates meeting the following qualifications:
• Previous geospatial data production experience, especially the collection of feature and terraindata from satellite imagery
• Familiarity with geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) products and specifications
Candidates must exhibit a positive attitude, have excellent communication and leadership skills, and have strong references.
