Milk Hauling Logistics Coordinator

Develop a Geographic Information System (GIS), (a computerized data management system used to capture, store, manage, retrieve, analyze, and display spatial information) as it relates to farm milk hauling. Provide support to hauling manager and farm hauling team by using  routing software to create maps of current routes in order to create scenarios for future routes with consideration of  members being added and leaving.

Responsibilities 

• Develop farm milk hauling GIS platform to be able to capture, store, manage, retrieve, analyze and display spatial information on farm milk routes.
• Download current farm milk routes into hauling routing software.
• Develop and produce reports related to milk route volumes, hauling costs related to current routes or future route scenarios.
• Support hauling cost coordinator with mileage audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Geographic Information Systems or related preferred.
• Advanced experience with using Microsoft office (Excel, Power point, Word, Access and Outlook) is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Excellent abilities to work in a group environment are required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to have a strong attention to detail.
