Regional Technical Manager
This is a work from home and travel position you must live in the territory to be eligible for. We are targeting candidates in the Minneapolis, Milwaukee, and Madison greater metropolitan areas but that we are open to any candidate living in the territory
The Regional Technical Manager works closely with Pictometry’s Government Sales Team to support our clients and their employees. They serve as the subject matter expert for our innovative GIS solutions and imagery through a variety of mediums as well as in person support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical Sales assistance with presentations to state and county and Infrastructure clients, working in concert with the District Sales Manager and Regional VP
- Respond to technical questions/issues raised by clients and prospects, coordinate response with home office staff
- Assist the Customer Support Group with customer installations and training, as requested
- Attend regional trade shows
- Working with existing clients to ensure maximum deployment and usage within the different departments, to assist District Manager for maximum renewal potential
- Support county and regional user groups as they are formed
- Provide logistical support during image capture, as needed
- Ancillary sales to existing customers
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years GIS experience is preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
- Must work well in team environment
- Experience working with local government and the utility/infrastructure market is a plus
- Sales and sales support experience a plus
