Summary
GAI is seeking an experienced and career-oriented Senior GIS Specialist to become a key member of our Wisconsin Design Team. This is an opportunity to work with some the most desirable clients in Wisconsin.
The ideal candidate will enjoy diverse design and maintenance of Geographic Information Systems for utility system development, zoning and planning mapping, cartographic exhibits, cadastral creation and maintenance, sales territory creation, GPS/survey integration and data conversion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work collaboratively as part of the Wisconsin Community Development Team by:
Perform technical assignments including:
+ Design and maintenance of Geographic Information Systems
+ Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer and Water system map development and maintenance
+ Zoning and Planning mapping
+ Cartographic Exhibits
+ Cadastral map creation and maintenance
+ Rural and Incorporated (re)addressing
+ Sales Territory Creation
+ GPS/survey integration and data conversion
Coordinate with design staff and clients to provide GIS technical assistance.
Education and/or Experience
1) Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Geographic Information Systems
2) 4 year degree in Geography/GIS/Mapping
3) Experience using Esri ArcGIS
4) Self – starter with demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
5) Career-oriented, with interest in personal and professional growth.
