Technical Sales Associate

LOCATION: West Bend, WI

POSITION PROFILE

Cityworks®–Azteca Systems Inc. functions efficiently and effectively under the leadership of the corporate
President and CEO. The company is made up of six teams: Administration, Sales, Marketing, Enterprise Solutions, Client and Information Services, and Product Development. The Technical Sales Associate will report directly to the Vice President of Sales under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager. The Technical Sales Associate will provide support to the regional sales manager, and help ensure key sales initiatives are completed. Cityworks is a Platinum Partner of Esri and has over 500 licensed organizations throughout the world.

ORGANIZATIONAL

  • Position reports to the Vice President of Sales
  • Individual will be working closely with sales account managers on both existing customers and prospects to pursue opportunities and expand existing account activity.
  • Market focus in Municipal/Local Government, Public Works, Utility District, Community Development and related segments.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Assist account managers with sales and marketing efforts in their regional territory.
  • Research and call on decision makers at targeted organizations.
  • Assist account managers with followup calls and webdemos
  • Develop the ability demonstrate the Cityworks solution.
  • Attend tradeshows in order to help account managers build and maintain a presence
  • Develop and maintain core product knowledge
  • Other duties as required

IDEAL CANDIDATE DESCRIPTION

  • Friendly personality.
  • Solid knowledge of Community Development, Public Works and Utilities in municipal and/or utility district (water, wastewater, storm water, streets and traffic), required.
  • Knowledge and some skills with Esri ArcGIS, required.
  • Knowledge of electric/gas/telecom, a plus.
  • Knowledge of leading database systems (Oracle and/or SQL/Server), a plus.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM, a plus
  • Ability to work remotely (from home or small office).
  • Selfstarter with a strong need for achievement.
  • Enjoys the challenge of being a significant part of a growing, developing organization.
  • Effective time management, decision making, analytical and problem solving capabilities.

EDUCATION

  • BS/BA in civil engineering, GIS, geography, related field or combination of education and experience.

TRAVEL

  • Approximately 50%.
