WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Work with Esri software on real-world uses of GIS! You might work on projects on our database services, cartography, implementation services, client solutions, consulting services, or applications development teams.
We seek students who are majoring in GIS, geography, or environmental studies and have knowledge of Esri products, GIS application development, GIS databases, spatial analysis, and/or cartography.
Over the summer Interns worked with senior staff to
- Create a script, demo, and story map for Community Analyst to be shown at the Esri User Conference Conservation Tech hub
- Geocode bicycle accidents in the DC area to be turned into a visualization map for public use
- Create a watershed habitat suitability web application for Esri’s Living Atlas of the World maps
