Job Responsibilities:
The Team Leader-Applications is responsible for the supervision of a group of technical developers and business support analysts that support and enhance various applications and their underlying architecture. They participate in the full cycle development process. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to the preparation and tracking of work plans, administration of the performance management process, coaching and development of the group. They are responsible for the successful integration of work between various work groups, as well as the integration of multiple applications and systems.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Information Technology, Business or Engineering degree preferred).
- Five years of IT applications experience in a service provider environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of IT infrastructure including client/server configuration, database (Oracle and MS SQL), server install/configuration and networking required.
- Experience in all phases of project management.
- Must have managed or provided technical direction on a medium or large project involving multiple work groups or has held a supervisory position.
- Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
- Working knowledge of the IT business applications and processes for Generation business preferred.
- Proven experience developing applications is preferred.
- Demonstrated formal leadership experience preferred.
- Experience with GIS Applications and/or other utility applications is preferred.
