Job Summary

  • Provide back end support to the Content Acquisition team
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers
  • Coordinate basic marketing support, administration and communication related to the Content Acquisition team

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the content acquisition team on their non-sourcing tasks: Tracking, data entry, follow-up, administration related to the supplier management system
  • Support Sourcing Team in pre-sourcing process (information collection, customization of presentation material) and in preparation of meetings
  • Provide reports as needed from available systems
  • Conduct market research to identify possible data suppliers
  • Coordinate with other teams to conduct initial supplier data evaluation and to prep sources to ingest data in order to build or enhance HERE’s offerings. Use discretion to decide if initial source evaluation justifies of moving further with the certain data in the content acquisition process.
  • Create and regularly update supplier inventory and profile including key information related to the supplier relationship. Utilize tools like SWOT analysis to compare suppliers.
  • Prioritize tasks and timing to ensure that pre-sourcing tasks, reports and market analysis outputs are available on time and in line with business need.

Environment

  • Needs to gain a thorough understanding of HERE’s business needs around acquiring datasets and be able to support the Content acquisition team on their non-sourcing tasks
  • Semi routine tasks of moderate complexity requiring some discretion and judgment. Carries out tasks/activities according to assignment and set guidelines. Moderate degree of supervision and coaching needed.

Scope

  • Individual contributor but may need to work closely and leverage the broader Sourcing team as well as other teams (Strategic Licensing, Legal, PMK, Local Map Operations in support of various activities such as source evaluation, source preparation, contract finalization…)
  • Has ownership of specific pieces of work / deliverables used as input into larger deliverables for the Content Acquisition Specialist/ Content Acquisition manager/Sr Content Acquisition manager
  • Semi-routine tasks of moderate complexity

Qualifications

  •  Bachelors degree required 
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English and in local language in assigned territory
  • Results-oriented
  • Open and outgoing personality
  • Ability to gather and analyze data (comfortable with numbers), problem solve, prioritize and organize to achieve stated goals
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Travel requirement up to 25%
