Land Surveying Technician

Job Description:

Clark Engineering Corporation, a leading Midwestern firm with over a 78-year history providing quality engineering and surveying services, has an opening for a full time Land Surveying Technician in our Minneapolis office starting in the spring of 2017.  This is an excellent career opportunity for a hardworking, mature individual who has entry level surveying skills. Expect year round outdoor work in all types of weather performing boundary and topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and construction staking.  

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years survey crew chief experience
• Experience with Trimble Robotic Total Stations and data collectors required
• Trimble GPS experience required
• Laser scanning experience desired
• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency desired
• Ability to interact in a friendly, business-like manner with those contacted in the course of doing business
• Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet fixed deadlines on a timely basis
• Must have the ability to work both as an individual contributor and within a team environment
• Requires good organizational, problem solving and self-management skills.
• Must have current driver’s license and driving record acceptable to corporate insurer
