Data Processor

Summary of Position:

The Data Processer position will take the data supplied from the Maverick mobile lidar and process it into usable results.   

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  

• Process lidar data using third party and proprietary software
• Perform Quality control activities on own work as well as team members’ work
• Complete daily data tracking procedures
• Perform short term field work by operating a collection vehicle as needed
• Use GIS software to assist in project planning or data review
• Provide feedback on processes, training procedures, and software features
• Other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Working knowledge of ArcMap
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Working knowledge of google Earth
• Good verbal and written skills

Experience & Education

• Minimal job experience. Entry level. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree.

Nature of the work experience required

• The Data Processer does not require prior professional experience.But related experience through their college degree, internships or professional jobs is preferred.

Field of study required  

• Geography or related geospatial science or equivalent professional experience.
