Job Duties:

  • Support AMC/A2 GI&S Program Management for AMC intelligence units and help coordinate between Headquarters Air Force (HAF) and multiple elements of the AMC staff.
  • Plan and implement the US Air Force’s Geospatial Product Library (GPL) initiative and AMC’s 4 Dimensional-Visualization (4D-V) initiative which currently uses GE architecture, but is exploring new 4D-V options. 
  • Support AMC/A2 Geospatial Intelligence initiatives including GE Enterprise Servers (GEES). Create and maintain GEES Globes or similar globe architecture, one each on AF Network Operations (AFNETOPS) NIPRNet and SIPRNet domains.
  • Develop and document the process to create portable GE globes for use by AMC units during standalone operations. Maintain the capability to create new user defined portable globes within a timeline as determined by the customer, normally within 48 hours of receiving globe specifications. Globe specifications will be developed jointly with and approved by customer personnel. Provide documentation on the portable GE globe request and cutting process 90 days after task order award and updates due within 10 working days after an updated requirement is identified. Train customer personnel on the portable globe cutting process. 
  • Manage GEOINT data overlays, i.e. KML/KMZs, threat assessments and force protection information. Geospatially reference and maintain this data on SIPRNet shared drives for access by AMC HQ and unit personnel.
  • Develop a variety of documents in support of the AMC/A2 GI&S program. Examples include inputs to GI&S Air Force Instructions (AFIs), certification and accreditation documents, requirements documentation and bullet background papers on the GPL and 4D-V programs. Provide update briefings and in-progress review documentation to senior leadership when requested.

Required Skills & Education:

  •  2 to 5 years of ArcGIS experience
  • Relevant 4 year college degree or an additional 4 years of experience
  • GEOINT collection capabilities National (NGA) and Tactical Air platforms
  • EMS, PRISUM, GETS, ARcGIS, and SOCET GXP
  • Full spectrum GEOINT exploitation (SAR, MSI, HIS and Thermal)
  • Applied GEOINT for Strategic and Tactical operational planning
  • MDMP process
  • KML, KMZ, and SHP files
  • Must be able to use Google Earth and Arc Earth
  • Ability to read, understand, speak, and write English fluently
  • Excellent writing skills
  • TOP SECRET/SSBI security clearance
