Land Surveyor – Supervisor

Job Description:

Established Southeast Wisconsin firm looking for a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor ready to step up to the role of supervisor.  The firm has been in business for 40 plus years and is established as a surveying, engineering, and architectural company.  We are looking for the person ready to multi-task and oversee 3 to 4 field crews, communicate with clients on projects ranging from surveys for closings, topographic surveys for site plans, construction staking, subdivision platting, CSM’s, large boundary work and farm surveys.  Experience and the ability to interpret government requirements for serving client needs are required.

Job responsibilities:

• Client contact for estimating and work setup
• Organizational skills
• Crew leadership to assure projects are properly done
• Computer skills for field work reduction and mapping data
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 5 years licensed experience
• Established work history
• Good communication skills
• Experience with Leica GPS and robotic data collection along with drafting software, preferred
• Interest in the future of surveying and survey technology
