GIS Account Executive

Job Responsiblities:

• Selling West’s Geographic Information System (GIS) products and services to local government, public safety entities, telephony carriers or West partners as well as continual prospecting activities to include significant efforts in cold calling new sales leads for assigned business services
• Following the sales process from beginning to end while supporting corporate and departmental goals and values
• Participating in the activities related to problem resolution
• Establishing an excellent working relationship with clients, and continuously striving to improve the business relationship and overall level of service

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in GIS, computer science, business administration, marketing or a related field required
• A minimum of a 1 year Certificate in GIS from an accredited college or university is preferred
• Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements

Experience:

• Minimum three years increasingly responsible experience in national sales to include extensive cold calling required, preferably in the GIS industry
• Minimum two years 9-1-1 or public safety experience required
• Minimum of 4 years experience using ESRI GIS software required
• Minimum of 3 years working in GIS preferably in the 9-1-1 or public safety required
