Job Description
Candidates will manage IT budgets; maintain compliance management systems (ex: EITDR); obtain OEP defense business certifications; obtain or maintain FDCCI approval for hardware related purchases; achieve Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) compliance; achieve Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) compliance; achieve Clinger-Cohen Act (CCA) compliance; prepare Information Support Plans; maintain IT budget compliance; plan, develop, and maintain a web-based inventory system to manage geospatial data, capabilities, and associated hardware and software assets; and other IT Portfolio Management Activities.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in an IT Portfolio Management Office
- Minimum 1 year managing a large DoD IT portfolio
- Demonstrated understanding of Air Force policy, federal laws, and other regulations governing IT portfolio management.
- Experience with IT administration – networks and/or systems.
- Exposure the geographic information systems (GIS) IT concepts.
Required Skills
- Active SECRET Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, or related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of CCA, BEA, BPR, Federal Information Security Act (FISMA), and Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative (FDCCI).
- History with acquisition of IT hardware/software for DoD organization.
Required Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Experience managing IT portfolio budgets.
