Senior Lead BI Analyst

Job Description:

Ecolab is looking for individuals to join our Global Institutional Business Intelligence group. We help to uncover tomorrow’s opportunities and create actionable analytics, comprehensive views of the data, and thoughtful visualizations to enable business partners to take action.
We are seeking a Lead BI Analyst to support our business partners in sales, marketing, finance, and others by using a variety of internal and external information sources to solve business needs. A successful candidate will have the right blend of analytical expertise, SQL skills, Microsoft BI experience, and communication acumen.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop new data analysis and visualizations using Microsoft BI Tools that summarize information and provide the business with actionable data driven insights
• Use business acumen, coding, statistical, and predictive modeling expertise to identify underlying opportunities
• Organize, profile, and analyze massive data sets using BI techniques to support reporting and advanced analytic processes
• Coach business partners and users in understanding and adopting information
• Validate data and master data to ensure accuracy. Help improve processes to facilitate
• Document methodologies used in the execution of requests, processes and reporting

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 10+ years of experience in business intelligence analysis or other similar positions
• 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Business Intelligence Tools (SSRS/SSAS, PowerBI, Azure, dashboards/visualization)
• 1+ years of experience with programming in SQL

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Solid time and project management skills
• Supervisory experience
• Educational focus in mathematics, economics, computer science, and/or statistics
• GIS / ESRI experience
