Data Processor – LTE

Summary of Position:

The Data Processor LTE is a temporary position working in an office setting and learning Lidar Data Processing. No previous GIS experience is necessary; we will provide training.  If you like working on a computer and learning new skills; this is the position for you. This position may have the opportunity to become full time.  

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.  

• Process lidar data using third party and proprietary software
• Identify various types features and associated data from image examples
• Understand and utilize basic math
• Follow written and spoken instructions
• Operate as part of a team

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Working knowledge of ArcMap and Google Earth is preferred but not required
• Ability to work at a computer for up to 8 hours/day
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Good verbal and written skills

Experience & Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous data processing experience preferred
