The Commons, located in Minneapolis, is the headquarters of Allina Health, a not-for-profit health care organization serving patients and communities. Approximately 1,600 corporate and administrative service employees work at offices within Midtown Exchange, the site of the historic Sears retail complex at Chicago Avenue and E. Lake Street. This community landmark, adjacent to the campus of Abbott Northwestern Hospital, part of Allina Health, is the second largest building in Minnesota and includes offices, an internationally themed public market and residential units.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide project coordination for strategy execution
- Manage status dashboard for all strategic projects
- Gather stakeholder status of strategic initiatives
- Integrate feedback from support functions
- Assist with portfolio processes for strategic initiatives
Provide project coordination to strategic partnerships and strategic planning initiatives
- Manage key project activities including but not limited to; milestones and tasks, training plan, and issues log
- Participate in and facilitate integration planning team meetings, lead follow up activities
- Setup and manage SharePoint sites
- Participate in and facilitate team meetings, manage the due diligence process, and serve as main point of contact for compiling data received from external partner
- Provide support for system wide initiatives and committees
Market analysis
- Serve as the subject matter expert for market analytic capabilities and solutions for planning projects
- Manage data purchased from external vendors
- Partner with reporting team leadership to refresh data regularly in the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) in support of dashboards
- Advise end users on how to best access and use the market data available
- Provide analysis of market data and/or package data in support of ad-hoc requests and planning projects
- Manage vendor relationships including payment of invoices
- Participate in on-going efforts to evaluate alternative vendors for market data and tools
GIS Mapping
- Serve as the subject matter expert for ArcGIS mapping software capabilities and solutions
- Serve on project teams that require geospatial expertise and respond to incoming mapping requests
- Manage the administrative infrastructure on the shred drive to ensure efficient process
- Incorporate market analytic data
- Manage vendor relationship including payment of invoices
Other responsibilities
- Manage calendars and administrative details
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, presentations, and travel arrangements if necessary
- Process invoices and maintain documentation for department expenses
- Manage department projects
Qualification/Skills
Minimum experience
- 1-3 years Project Coordinator and/or Market Analyst experience
- Previous experience coordinating projects in a healthcare environment
- Working knowledge and experience with data analytics, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, etc.
Preferred experience
- 3+ years’ experience Project Coordinator and/or Market Analyst experience in the healthcare field
- PMI (Project Management Institute) certification
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
