GIS Programmer/Developer Student Intern

Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Configure and test web applications and tools within a collaborative environment.
• Participate in project planning and scheduling analysis.
• Work within databases and perform maintenance.
• Research new technologies and provide analysis for use in existing and future applications.

Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidate for this position will be team-oriented and self-motivated; have strong communication and interpersonal skills; be capable of working independently with minimal supervision; have good problem-solving abilities; and be goal and deadline oriented. Candidates pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field will be preferred. Experience with SQL Server databases, Silverlight, Flex, HTML5, Java Script, ArcGIS Server and developing mobile apps is a plus, as well as knowledge of Visual Studio (.NET, ASP.net and C#). Candidates should have a reliable means of transportation to travel to our Waukesha office.
