Lidar Data Processor

The Lidar Data Processor LTE is a temporary position that will extract data, usually supplied from a mobile Lidar unit and create undefined deliverables individually or as part of a team.  *** Please note this positon has the opportunity to become full time if additional work is secured for the fall.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Process LIDAR data using third party and proprietary software
• Identify various types features and associated data from image examples
• Understand and utilize basic math
• Follow written and spoken instructions
• Operate as part of a team

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Working knowledge of ArcMap (preferred but not required)
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Working knowledge of Google Earth
• Good verbal and written skills

Experience & Education:

• Does not require prior professional experience; related experience through their college degree, internships or professional jobs is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
