LiDAR Technician Intern

Aerial Cartographic of America Inc. is currently seeking applications for summer intern candidates for its geospatial teams in our Orlando FL, Tampa FL and Plymouth WI offices. This position is an opportunity to gain a range of training and experience by working on a variety of geospatial, GIS, and survey projects. We are looking for self-motivated and goal-oriented individuals who are interested in both field data collection and office production work and are also excited working with new technology. This position will involve working on projects including aerial, terrestrial, and mobile LiDAR, field data collection, and geodetic control surveys.

• Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
• High degree of motivation and focus with minimal supervision.
• Associate Degree or higher in geography, geospatial technology, GIS, surveying technology/geomatics, or related field is preferred but not required.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microstation, AutoCAD, TopoDOT, Global Mapper and ESRI ArcMap is preferred.
