Job Summary:
Henkels & McCoy, Inc. (H&M) is currently searching for an experienced Associate Environmental Project Manager. This position can be based in either our McFarland or Pewaukee, Wisconsin office.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing transmission and substation projects for a long term program with a major power utility. The successful candidate must have experience in electrical construction, specifically within the utility industry. Duties include but are not limited to: project performance, schedule, quality and safety. Effective communication, time management and organization are required to work with construction management, our customer and project stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be the Arc GIS Online (AGO) Administrator for a large utility customer
- Manage software and licenses for AGO
- Responsible for inputting project data into the respective project files for AGO
- Communicate customer and H&M environmental expectations to the construction team
- Provide customer specific General Environmental Training as part of H&M new hire on-boarding process
- Assist in access plan and environmental plan development
- Perform desktop environmental reviews for new projects
- Self-perform environmental monitoring and reporting
- Assist construction supervision in securing Diggers Hotline locates
- Provide back office and environmental support for maintenance activities
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience in the environmental field
- Degree in environmental engineering, natural resources, or equivalent is preferred
- Must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera or related scheduling software.
- Experience with ARC GIS Online software
