found
to
be
inaccurate,
inconsistently
determined
and
in
serious
need of revIsion. The definition of geographic center is clarified. Methods of computation of two-dimensional distributions on curved surfaces are given. An accurate location for the center of Wisconsin is determined to be a latitude of
o 0
44 38’04” N., longitude 8942’35” W. The uncertainty in the geographic center of the United States is discussed. Recommendations for future further work are given.
