Alan Lulloff accepts position with ASFPM

On August 1, 2004, Alan Lulloff, state floodplain engineer and 32-year veteran of the WI Department of Natural Resources (DNR), was appointed Project Manager for the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) in Madison. The ASFPM is a national organization of professionals involved in floodplain management, flood hazard mitigation, the National Flood Insurance Program, and flood preparedness, warning and recovery.

In his new position, Lulloff will help advance ASFPM’s mission through the development and management of projects that support wise use of floodplains through education, training, policy analysis and program development. Through December this year, Alan will split time between ASFPM and the DNR where he is working on the Flood Map Modernization initiative.
