Recently revised county land information plans are now available for viewing or download from the WI Dept. of Administration’s web site. The plans, which detail each county’s GIS/LIS projects, funding, and applications over the next five years are a requirement for county participation in the WI Land Information Program (WLIP), and to receive WLIP grants.
The updated plans follow a common format developed in 2004 by the WI Land Information Board. About half-a-dozen of the currently available plans are still in “draft” form awaiting final review and approval. Two counties, Milwaukee and Waukesha, have not yet submited a plan.
