Registration is now open for the National States Geographic Information Council (NSGIC) annual conference happening in Madison on September 23-27, 2007. Non-member registration for the event runs $620, but the fee includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner most days, plus a special social event to be held at the UW-Madison Pyle Center on Lake Mendota.
The NSGIC annual conference is the premier gathering of statewide GIS coordinators from around the nation. The agenda is typically packed very tightly with a wide range of topics from early morning into the late evenings. Check the conference page for the current agenda, which is still somewhat fluid.
The meeting rotates around the nation from year to year, so this is a good opportunity for Wisconsinites to rub elbows with national GIS professionals, right in our own backyard.
