Schultz appointed as Rock County Real Property Lister

County Administrator Craig Knutson announced on March 20th that he has appointed Michelle Schultz as the new Real Property Lister for Rock County.  Schultz’s appointment was confirmed by the County Board at its meeting on March 27^th.

Schultz was formerly a Cartographer and has been in the Real Property Description Department since July 1999 when she was hired as a Junior Draftsperson.  Ms. Schultz has a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from UW-Whitewater. Schultz will be responsible for overseeing the Real Property Description Department’s two major functions.   One function involves maintaining descriptions of real and personal property together with producing assessment rolls, tax rolls, and tax statements.  The second function involves the preparation and updating of property division maps.

Schultz replaces Paul Clayton who retired on January 31, 2008.
