After several months of work, the UW Spatial Information and Analysis Consortium (SIAC) recently unveiled a new Web site to highlight the many diverse geospatial resources available at UW-Madison. Visit the new site at www.siac.wisc.edu.
The new site is designed to enhance intra-campus communication, but also help those outside UW-Madison get a better understanding of the type of research, teaching, and outreach happening on campus. In particular, the new “links” section is a great way to learn more about the many centers and offices on campus that develop or utilize geospatial technologies.
Established in 1991, SIAC is a group of faculty, staff, and students at UW-Madison involved in the field of Geographic Information Science and its related disciplines.
