ASPRS Western Great Lakes hosting event in Madison

What: ASPRS WGL Region Spotlight Series: Networking, Education, and Outreach Mixer

When: Wednesday, October 26th, 2011, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Where: The Rigadoon Room at the Edgewater Hotel, 666 Wisconsin Avenue, Madison.

Cost: $10 for students, $15 for members, $20 for non-members. Pay at the door, cash or check only.

The Western Great Lakes (WGL) Region of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) is holding a casual mixer including refreshments and presentations on Wednesday October 26th at the Edgewater Hotel in Madison.

Hosted by WGL Region President David Hart of Continental Mapping Consultants, the mixer is intended to engage individuals in private, public, and academic discussions of photogrammetry, remote sensing, and geospatial ideas.

The event will feature brief presentations from ASPRS members discussing new photogrammetric mapping applications using satellite imagery, and an overview of upcoming ASPRS events and scholarships.

Everyone in the Madison area is invited to attend and share your ideas and topics, and network among students, faculty, and geospatial professionals in the ASPRS WGL Region!
