John Moeller, director of the Secretariat Staff for the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) is resigning effective late July. Moeller has led the FGDC staff since 1996.
In a message to FGDC staff, Moeller said he would be joining a private sector company active in geospatial information, TASC Northrup Grumman. There has been no indication of whom will succeed Moeller permanently at FGDC, nor on a temporary basis.
