Presentation abstracts are due by July 30.

Wisconsin’s largest annual gathering of Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) software users is set for October 29-30, 2008 in Appleton at the Paper Valley Hotel.

This year, presentations will be grouped into four tracks:

    • Desktop GIS – Presentations on the use of ESRI Desktop GIS software. How-to’s and “tips & tricks” presentations are encouraged.
    • Server GIS – Same as above, except that ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Image Server, and ArcIMS will be covered. Implementation and configuration experiences are encouraged.
    • Projects – Projects where GIS played a significant role, such as how you used GIS to respond to the flooding. Projects of interest to planners are encouraged, as EWUG will be submitting for AICP Certification Maintenance credits.
  • Vendor Demonstrations – Vendors and exhibitors, here’s the chance to show your stuff. These will be 20 minute presentation slots prior to the vendor reception. The idea here is to showcase your product and services.

Anyone interested in presenting should submit their presentation title, proposed track, description, and their name, title, and affiliation to David Haines by July 30th. Presentations will run 30-40 minutes. As an added bonus, each presenter will receive one free conference registration!
