WLIA Foundation announces scholarship opportunities for students

The Wisconsin Land Information Association (WLIA) Foundation, Inc. recently announced they are now accepting applications for their 2012 Damon Anderson Memorial Scholarship Awards.   They will be awarding several $1,000 scholarships for the 2012-2013 academic school year, along with a one year student membership in WLIA.  Recipients will also receive recognition and free registration to the 2013 WLIA Annual Conference in Lake Geneva.

All interested individuals should send the completed application at the link below along with two letters of recommendation to WLIA by July 1st, 2012.

Applications will be evaluated on letters of recommendation, academic achievement, financial need, extracurricular activities, involvement in organizations, and the applicant’s thoughts/statements.  All scholarship recipients will be notified by August 1st, 2012.
