Robinson Map Library curtails hours

The Robinson Map and Airphoto Library on the UW-Madison campus is going to be open to the public fewer hours each week. This will allow staff to catch up on cataloguing which ultimately will provide better service.

The revised schedule, to take effect on January 22, will be different most days of the week (including being closed on Fridays).

(Between December 26 and January 21, the university’s winter break, the library will be open only from 10 a.m. – noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays [except the holidays of Dec. 31 and Jan. 21]).

The reduced schedule, beginning January 21, will be:

Monday: 8:00 a.m. – noon; 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Wednesday: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Friday: closed
