The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has released a new dynamic website. This new site offers much more user-friendly navigation as well as several other features. The expanded site has several easily accessible maps that are very helpful when trying to get around Wisconsin. Some of the maps offered: Cities that provide public transportation, rest areas, rustic roads, “travel easy” (major work zones for the year), truck routes, winter road conditions, and of course the state highway map.
Some of these maps can be viewed online; in other cases, the website provides information on how to acquire a printed copy.
