The UW-Milwaukee School of Continuing Education (SCE) is offering an 11-week online course focused on GIS in transit. Primarily aimed at public transportation professionals, the course is also open to anyone interested in expanding their knowledge of GIS applications. Major topics to be covered include an introduction to GIS, fundamentals of transportation planning, concepts for GIS in transportation planning, database models, and applications of GIS in transportation planning.
The course begins March 12 and runs through May 25th.
