Dates set for imagery user meetings

involved

As of today, we’ve received nearly 900 responses to our Wisconsin aerial imagery user survey that many of you received three weeks ago.  In a word: Wow!

With the survey set to close on September 14th, we are preparing to enter the next major phase of information gathering for the Wisconsin Aerial Imagery Business Plan project.

I’m happy to announce a series of five aerial imagery user meetings to be held around the state during the last week of September. The purpose of these meetings is to bring folks together to discuss results of the recent survey, and have an open discussion during a facilitated meeting. This is a chance to get together with your colleagues, and help shape the future of aerial imaging in Wisconsin!

The five locations were picked based on feedback we received in the survey:

Monday, September 24th: Stevens Point, 9:30 – 12:00 noon
Tuesday, September 25th: Middleton, 1:30 – 4:00 [same location as a morning Esri ArcGIS 10.1 seminar]
Wednesday, September 26th: Waukesha, 9:30 – 12:00 noon
Thursday, September 27th: Neenah, 9:30 – 12:00 noon
Friday, September 28th: Eau Claire, 9:30 – 12:00 noon
