“Maps Matter” at upcoming state agency GIS open house

The State Agency GIS Coordination (SAGIC) team is sponsoring an event on Friday February 22nd to show off the latest and greatest GIS projects happening in state government.  

David Cagigal, the Chief Informaton Officer for the State of Wisconsin, will kick off the event with a keynote address at 10:30 a.m.* in room 413N of the State Capitol Building.

In addition to a series of speakers throughout the day, the open house will feature displays, posters, and interactive demonstrations from a dozen different agencies and organizations.

For anyone unable to attend, the presentations will be recorded by WisconsinEye for online viewing approximately a week after the event.

The Maps Matter open house is free and open to the public.
