UAVs, LiDAR and ash tree detection on tap for meeting in Madison

The American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Western Great Lakes Region is sponsoring a gathering of geospatial professionals on the afternoon of September 22nd.

The upcoming event will feature three presentations from local mapping/photogrammetry professionals, a show and tell session with the Wisconsin DOT static LiDAR scanner, and an informal social hour to follow.  The region is also holding a drawing for up to three individuals to receive $50 off the normal price of $150 for an ASPRS annual membership.

The event is free, but attendees are asked to RSVP by September 16th.

The ASPRS Western Great Lakes Region is comprised of public, private, and academic professionals dedicated to the advancement of the geospatial profession. The Western Great Lakes Region of the ASPRS is one of sixteen regions nationwide and consists of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Indiana, and northern Illinois.
