I’m sorry to report that Damon Anderson from Ozaukee County passed away earlier today, August 8, while on vacation with his family in Washington Island, WI. Damon was a very active member of the GIS/LIS community in Wisconsin, and was current Chair of the Land Information Officers Network. I personally had the opportunity to get to know and work with Damon many times over the past few years, and always admired his good-natured, friendly approach to work and life. Everyone at the SCO wishes to send our deepest condolences to his family.
Memorial Service
A memorial service will be held on Monday August 20, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at St. Peters Catholic Church, at 1800 N.Wisconsin St., Port Washington. Visiting hours will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a fellowship to follow at St. Peters.
